Providing women with the skills they need to succeed

LNW collaborated with a Catholic Women’s Organization (CWO) and supplied start-up business equipment for widowed women with children in their Micro-Economy Skills Acquisition Empowerment program. These programs were designed to train women in various professions such as hairdressing, soap making, sewing and fashion designing, jewelry making, catering, etc. Upon graduation, and once established in their businesses, these women are required to replicate the same support given to them by supporting the next graduating class to also learn a trade.
